The Grocer New Product Awards recognises and rewards the most innovative products in the UK FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector that have been released to market within the last 14 months. Judging consists of a two-stage process that includes a consumer test and an evaluation of an expert panel.
Regina Blitz Extra Large Triple Layer Sheets championed in its category with an overall score of 47 out of a possible 50. Regina Blitz proved itself in a strong category with its new Easy Open feature and great all-round versatility. Regina Wish was also nominated in the same category.
Regina Blitz was described as being tough, thick and absorbent when tested in a home environment over a period of several days. Many participants thought Regina Blitz was the perfect thickness and was ideal for all-round, general cleaning with one participant commenting that Regina Blitz was ‘much more effective than normal kitchen roll’.
