Sofidel recognized by CDP 2024 for its commitment to climate action and supplier engagement 

CDP is one of the world’s leading independent organizations for measuring and reporting environmental performance. In 2024, more than 22,700 companies were assessed globally. 

Porcari (LU), Italy, 5 September 2025 – The Sofidel Group, known for its Regina brand and among the global leaders in the production of tissue paper for hygienic and household use, has once again been recognized by CDP – one of the main independent organizations for measuring and reporting environmental performance – for its commitment to climate action and supplier engagement on environmental issues.

As for climate, Sofidel achieved an A- score, positioning itself above the European average (C) and in line with the industry average (A-).

Sofidel was also included in the CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) A-list which recognizes companies for their efforts in addressing climate change within their supply chains. 

“These results reflect our strong commitment to supporting the ecological transition – a goal that is increasingly challenging and for which collaboration across the entire supply chain is essential” commented Riccardo Balducci, Sofidel Group Sustainability Director.

In 2024, CDP assessed more than 22,700 companies worldwide.
