Cultural Growth

With the educational project“Mi Curo di Te” [I care about you], in partnership with WWF Italia and Regina, Sofidel works with primary schools in Italy to raise awareness among young people about looking after our natural resources. The initiative, now in its eleventh year, has so far involved over 900,000 students, addressing crucial topics such as forests, water and climate. This year, the focus is on responsible consumption and biomimicry, exploring how nature can inspire innovative and sustainable solutions for our future.

Our focus on people also translates into concrete support for the most vulnerable communities. Sofidel partners organisations such as the Ronald McDonald Foundation, which offers hospitality and assistance to sick children and their families, and supports I Bambini delle Fate, a project dedicated to the social inclusion of families with members with autism and other disabilities.
In response to local needs, the Group also actively participates in initiatives to support the region.

Sofidel also supports cultural and awareness-raising initiatives that stimulate dialogue on issues of sustainability and social responsibility. Events such as the Planet Earth Festival encourage reflection on key issues such as ecological transition and the reduction of inequalities. Likewise, the Lucca Film Festival for Future offers a platform dedicated to short films that tell stories of environmental and social sustainability, involving an increasingly wide audience.
