The collaboration between Sofidel and WWF reached a significant milestone in 2016, when Luigi Lazzareschi, CEO of the Sofidel Group, was appointed WWF Italy's 50th Anniversary Ambassador. An important recognition that rewards Sofidel's solid commitment to environmental sustainability.
Sofidel, among the first signatories of the Manifesto 'An S.O.S. for a Sustainable Human Future' promoted by WWF Italy in 2017, supports an economic model that combines social prosperity and respect for the planet's ecological limits. The commitment is reflected in the adherence to the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda, with a focus on climate, natural resources and community well-being.
Mi Curo di Te is an educational programme launched in 2014 by Sofidel in cooperation with WWF Italy and the Regina brand, aimed at primary and secondary school students. The project aims to raise awareness among young people on key issues such as forest protection, responsible water management and combating climate change.
