The levers of growth

1. Asset quality

Attention to asset quality, with production systems that on average, are younger and better performing than those in the industry, thanks to significant investments in technology and process innovations.

2. Geographical coverage

Tissue paper is a bulky product and to reduce transport and logistics costs and to improve customer service, Sofidel has implemented a “proximity strategy” using:

  •  plants close to outlet markets (300-400 km from clients in Europe and 700-800 km in the United States);
  • plants located nearer to areas with high population density
  • plants located close to important communication routes and service providers

3. Sustainability

Sofidel incorporates sustainability in every aspect of its business through effective governance, specifically for ESG issues, planning of the Group’s main actions and objectives, checking and publishing results in special reports based on the main accounting standards, working with partners or recognised value and credibility.
