This year\u2019s event was entitled <em>Fields of Sustainability<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sofidel took part in the event on Tuesday, 1<sup>st<\/sup> October<\/strong>. Andrea Piazzolla, Sofidel\u2019s Chief Purchasing Officer, took part in the <em>Green supply chain: involving suppliers in business strategies <\/em>workshop, coordinated by Alberto Grando, Professor of Management and Technology at Bocconi University. Susanna Bellandi, Sofidel\u2019s Global Creative, Communication &amp; CSR Director, was involved in the <em>Responsible Companies for Sustainable Consumers<\/em> session, coordinated by Wise Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Group also took part in the <em>Changing Course <\/em>presentation<\/strong>. The meeting was an opportunity for a discussion with young people, starting with a conversation with the authors of the book \u201c<strong>Cambio Rotta. Storie di sostenibilit\u00e0 e successo&#8221; <em>(Changing Course. Stories about sustainability and success)<\/em><\/strong>. On sale under the joint Mondadori Electa\/Focus brand, the book was published with Sofidel\u2019s support. The publication contains some <strong>great stories about sustainability<\/strong>, demonstrating that it is not a surrender or a duty, but an immediate advantage for those who practise it and especially for the planet and its inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative is part of <strong>a series of communication initiatives<\/strong> conducted by Sofidel in 2019 under the label &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/en\/sustainability\/next-gen\"><strong>Next Gen<\/strong><\/a>&#8220;, <strong>which look to and feature the younger generations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company has made sustainability a strategic lever for development and growth, with the aim of minimising its environmental impact and maximising social benefits.
