{"id":5689,"date":"2021-09-09T10:05:18","date_gmt":"2021-09-09T10:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/sofidel-organizes-the-school-for-sustainable-development-roundtable-online\/"},"modified":"2021-09-09T10:06:04","modified_gmt":"2021-09-09T10:06:04","slug":"sofidel-organizes-the-school-for-sustainable-development-roundtable-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/en\/sofidel-organizes-the-school-for-sustainable-development-roundtable-online\/","title":{"rendered":"Sofidel organizes the \u201cSchool for Sustainable Development\u201d roundtable online"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/all4climate2021.org\/\"><strong>All4Climate-Italy2021<\/strong><\/a>\u201d campaign, promoted by Italy\u2019s Ministry of Ecological Transition to promote active debate on the challenges of the climate crisis prior to the Milan Pre-COP (September 30 \u2013 October 2) and Glasgow COP26 (November 1 \u2013 12, 2021), together with WWF Italy, Sofidel is organizing the online event <strong>\u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/focus-on\/mi-curo-di-te\/la-scuola-per-lo-sviluppo-sostenibile\/\"><strong>School for Sustainable Development<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The roundtable \u2013 to be held in Italian \u2013 is scheduled for <strong>September 27, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.<\/strong> <strong>CET<\/strong> (Central European Time) and is proposed to allow participants to discuss the fundamental role of schools in <strong>raising the awareness of new generations on the topics of sustainability, sustainable development, and ecological transition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Sofidel, the <strong>Undersecretary of State at the Italy\u2019s Ministry of Education, Sen. Barbara Floridia<\/strong>, and <strong>the Director of WWF Italy\u2019s Conservation Program, Isabella Pratesi,<\/strong> will take part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The appointment will also be the opportunity to present the 2021\/2022 edition of the <strong>environmental education project<\/strong> <strong>\u201c<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/en\/focus-on\/i-ll-take-care-of-you\/\"><strong>I\u2019ll Take Care of You: Working with Schools towards the 2030 Agenda<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u201d<\/strong>. The educational program is aimed at <strong>primary and secondary schools<\/strong> and is integrated in the Italian ministerial guidelines for Civic Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the seven editions of the project, <strong>more than 380,000 pupils<\/strong> <strong>in more than 17,000 classes<\/strong> in Italian schools have been reached by the initiative.
