{"id":7510,"date":"2026-06-04T10:30:35","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T09:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/?post_type=comunicato&#038;p=7510"},"modified":"2026-06-04T10:37:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T09:37:34","slug":"sofidel-confirmed-on-cdps-supplier-engagement-leaderboard-for-its-climate-action-commitment","status":"publish","type":"comunicato","link":"https:\/\/www.sofidel.com\/en\/press-releases\/sofidel-confirmed-on-cdps-supplier-engagement-leaderboard-for-its-climate-action-commitment\/","title":{"rendered":"Sofidel confirmed on CDP\u2019s Supplier Engagement Leaderboard for its climate action commitment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The prestigious \u201cA\u201d rating in the 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) recognizes the effectiveness of the Group\u2019s supply chain decarbonization strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Porcari (Lucca), Italy, June 04 2026<\/em><strong> <\/strong>\u2013 <strong>Sofidel<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and household use, best known in Italy and Europe for its Regina brand, <strong>has achieved the highest \u201cA\u201d score in CDP\u2019s 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA).<\/strong> CDP is the non-profit global organization that supports companies worldwide in measuring and disclosing environmental performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to this achievement, <strong>Sofidel is once again confirmed on CDP\u2019s SEA Leaderboard<\/strong>, which recognizes companies for the <strong>effectiveness of their strategies in engaging suppliers in the fight against climate change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The rating assesses five key areas<\/strong>: risk management processes; governance and business strategy \u2013 including the presence of a climate transition plan; supplier engagement on environmental issues; Scope 3 emissions reporting and verification; and emissions reduction targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>We are proud to once again be included in CDP\u2019s SEA Leaderboard. This achievement confirms that, together with our partners, we are moving in the right direction towards the future, and it is even more meaningful in the year in which we celebrate our 60th anniversary<\/em>,\u201d commented <strong>Riccardo Balducci, Sofidel Group Sustainability Director<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supplier engagement is a key pillar of Sofidel\u2019s sustainable development strategy.
