The astronaut of ESA (European Space Agency) was the guest of honour at the annual meeting of the Finance managers of the Sofidel Group companies, held in Lucca.
Finance Day 2015, the annual meeting of the Finance managers of the Sofidel Group companies, involved the participation of a guest of honour, Paolo Nespoli, the astronaut of ESA (European Space Agency).
2015, a year in which, with a new advert, Rotoloni Regina flew into space, hence an astronaut was chosen to bring high professional experience to issues of planning and organisation, essential elements for successful space missions. The theme of the Sofidel Finance Day 2015, held yesterday in Lucca at the San Francesco Complex was, in fact, “Integrated business and risk management planning".
Nespoli, born in Milan in 1957, has been part of the ESA European Space Agency since 1991; during his work experience in Europe and the United States, he has helped train and prepare astronauts. In 2000 he earned his qualifications to be assigned to a mission on board the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. In July 2015 he was assigned to his third mission into space: in May 2017 he will leave on board the Soyuz shuttle for a five-month mission on the International Space Station.
Like last year, when the protagonists of the "Communication and integration" theme of the Sofidel Finance Day were composer Giorgio Battistelli with the Orchestra Regionale Toscana (Tuscan Regional Orchestra), new testimony to prestige to inspire daily work activities.
