A CHALLENGING YEAR

2018 was a very challenging year for the tissue industry. The year was characterised by a sharp increase in the cost of the raw material, cellulose, and by increases in the cost of energy and transport. These factors have had an impact on the industry's margins for the year in general.

The focus on sustainability as a lever for competitive growth, the attention given to technological innovation, the pursuit of quality, the construction of stable and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders and a positive approach to the future have been key factors in the Group’s growth.
