The jury of the 2015 edition of the PPI (Pulp & Paper International) Awards has selected Papernet Bio Tech, the biologically active toilet paper, as “Innovative Product of the Year”.
The 2015 PPI Awards, promoted by RISI, one of the leading information providers to the global pulp and paper industry, took place alongside RISI's North American Conference on September 28th in Chicago.
Bio Tech is the biologically active toilet paper that helps reduce drainage interventions, blockages and smells.
When Bio Tech comes into contact with water, its microorganisms are activated and produce enzymes that feed on the dirt present in pipes and in the sewage system.
The PPI Awards honor the achievements of companies for leadership, vision, innovation and strategic accomplishments within the pulp and paper sector.
And for the first time this year, the awards focus on important examples of innovative products in the tissue industry category, new product ideas that combine technologies and functionalities, highlighting the characteristics of the product itself starting from its composition.
